Description:
The Advanced Laser Threat Alerting System (ALTAS) is a laser warning system designed for a wide range of flying platforms. It detects, tracks and warns of hostile laser sources aiming at the platform. ALTAS provides all the parameters required to activate countermeasures effectively. Data processing is carried out by the ALTAS uncooled sensors (typically 4 sensors).
The ALTAS has been designed to be integrated easily into higher level electronic suites and defensive systems.
