Description:

The AN/AAR-54 is a passive missile approach warning system. It detects passively ultraviolet (UV) energy from missile's rocket motor, tracks multiple sources, and quickly classifies each source as a lethal missile, non-lethal missile or clutter.

The AAR-54 can be installed on a wide range of aircraft and ground based platforms. It can be installed on the B-2 Spirit bomber, C-130 cargo aircraft and S-70 (H-60 Hawk) helicopter.
