Description: The Raytheon's AN/ASQ-81 is a magnetic anomaly detector (MAD) designed for both rotary and fixed wing aircraft that can detect a submerged submarine relying upon its magnetic field. The system has been installed on LAMPS helicopters, P-3 and S-3 maritime patrol aircraft.
