Description:
The DAV is a helicopter mast-mounted, all-weather, tactical surveillance and warning radar designed to provide detection of helicopters, fixed wing aircraft and incoming missiles, as well as other airborne threats. It has a coverage of 360-degree and provides situational awareness as well as target designation for the helicopter's weapon system.
The DAV provides a very low false alarm rate, features low-probability of intercept and is jam-resistant. It detects, tracks, identifies and designates air threats from safe ranges. It has been integrated in the Tiger attack helicopter.
