Description: The IAI/Taman LOROS (Long Range Observation System) is an airborne, stabilized, multi-sensor imaging system long-range, day/night observation in support of intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) mission. LOROS includes thermal imager, color CCD-TV camera, black and white CCD-TV spotter and ICCD, and laser ranger finder mounted on a gyro-stabilized turret. The sensor suite features automatic target tracker and enhanced image processing. Additionally, the system is provided with an airborne workstation and a ground mobile station which receives the video and data gathered by the LOROS surveillance via a long-range down-link.
