Description: The IAI/Taman MicroPOP is the smaller and lighter member of the POP family. It has been designed to provide day and night observation at short ranges for mini unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). The observation pod has been built using one line replaceable unit (LRU) with a single sensor that can be replaced in the field within minutes. So far, the MicroPOP can accommodate a daylight CCD-TV camera or a 320x240 uncooled thermal imager.
