Description: The Future Offensive Air System - Conventional Air Launched Cruise Missile (FOAS-CALCM) intends to provide an affordable long range air strike capability beyond Tornado Gr4 withdrawal from service. The FOAS-CALCM air launched cruise missile would be launched from A400M and C-130J cargo aircraft as primary carrier during day/night, all-weather conditions.

The FOAS-CALCM cruise missile along with manned and unmanned airborne platforms should match FOAS requirements.

The British MoD should take a decision on FOAS program in early 2004.
