Description: The Hsiung Feng IIE is a land attack cruise missile variant of the Hsiung Feng II medium-range, high subsonic, sea-skimming anti-ship missile. Taiwan revealed its existence during its annual Han Kuang exercise in April 2007. Taiwan's Ministry of National Defense (MND) refers to Hsiung Feng IIE as a tactical shore-based missile for fire suppression. The new weapon would be used against a series of specific targets in People's Republic of China (PRC) after a fist strike on Taiwan.
