Description:
KSR-2 is a liquid fuel supersonic cruise missile with a range over 200 kilometers. It can be equipped with either a conventional or nuclear warhead. Its guidance system is based on an active radar homing seeker when employed as anti-ship missile or a passive radar homing system when employed for suppression of enemy air defenses. KSR-11 can be used against land targets.
KSR-2 missile was integrated onto the Tu-16 Badger medium bomber which typically carries two missiles. The United States/NATO refer to this weapon as the AS-5 Kelt. Russian also refer to KSR-2 missile as KS-11 or K-11.
