Description: The YJ-63 is an improved air-launched land attack cruise missile being developed by China. The missile featuring standoff range and precision strike capabilities. Little is known about it, but maybe it is a further development of the People's Liberation Army (PLA) Navy YJ-62 surface-to-surface anti-ship missile. Its existence was revealed in the Pentagon's 2008 China Military Report (March 2008). The PLA Air Force (PLAAF) may deploy the YJ-63 on its latest strike aircraft such as upgraded FB-7A (FBC-1) or upgraded B-6 bombers (Tu-16 variant) to engage targets deep inside of Taiwan's territory.
