Description: M60 Patton was developed from M48 Main Battle Tank in the 1950s. It was fielded with the US Army in 1961 equipped with a 105mm cannon as main armament. In addition, it features a 7.62mm coaxial machine gun and a roof-mounted 12.7 anti-aircraft gun. M60 Main Battle Tank (MBTs) series are powered by Continental AVDS-1790 V12 diesel engine rated at 750-hp. M60s saw combat in the Middle East, Vietnam and Iraq. More than 15,000 M60s were produced for the United States and international customers between 1960 and 1983.

M60A3 is an improved variant of M60 Main Battle Tank fitted with an improved fire control system and a turret stabilization system. Its fire control system includes a laser designator, ballistic computer and a Tank Thermal Sight (M60A3 TTS). M60A3 entered service in 1975 with the US Army. Several thousands of M60A1 tanks were upgraded to M60A3 during the 1980s. It was sold to several international customers and US allies.

Sabra is an upgraded M60A3 developed by Israel for its armed forces and Turkey. Sabra features improved armor and greater firepower utilizing a 120mm main gun. 120S is another upgrade developed by General Dynamics for M60 customers all over the world and introduced in 2001. 120S features M1A1's 120mm main gun, reinforced turret for enhanced survivability, improved armor, greater mobility using M1's suspension, new digital fire control system and an AVDS-1790 engine rated at 1,200-hp. Overall, 120S performance looks like an M1A1.
