The Supacat High Mobility Transporter (HMT) is a military truck system intended to meet the needs of light-to-medium load carriers in on-road and off-road scenarios. The HMT 800 is an 8x8, high mobility, light tactical vehicle available with various cab configurations. It features variable ride height depending on the terrain profile. The HMT 800 can be airlifted by fixed-wing aircraft (C-130). The Lockheed Martin corporation has purchased the HMT vehicle rights for the North American market.
The HMT 800 or Supacat 800 military truck has been selected by the British Army as the carrier vehicle, called M777 Portee, for the LIMAWS(G) high mobility artillery system.
