Description: The Sisu 10x10 is a heavyweight, high-mobility, high-capacity, all-terrain, high-speed, all-wheel drive tactical truck designed for operation under varying transport conditions with ease of maintenance and repair. Due to its military role, critical components such as electric and pneumatic systems are located in protected places. It is based on standard truck components and shares the same modular cab design with other members of the Sisu Defence military trucks family. Besides, the Sisu Defence tactical trucks can be equipped with add-on armor kits. Sisu 10x10 truck is supplied in special versions and can be modified with ease to meet customer's requirements.

The Sisu 10x10 truck is the most robust vehicle in the Sisu family and has been designed for on-road and off-road operations carrying extremely large and heavy loads. Typically, it is the carrier for the MLC70 Leguan a 26 meters long bridging system manufactured by Krauss Maffei-Wegmann (KMW) of Germany. The Finnish Defence Forces ordered nine of these vehicles with deliveries due between 2007 and 2009. It is powered by an Euro 4 emissions compliant C15 diesel engine from Caterpillar developing 550-hp of power. This truck system is entitled to transport loads of up to 25 tons. It features NATO STANAG 3 protection level against mines and ballistic threats. In addition, the two-seat armored cabin is completely airtight thus allowing for its pressurization which would provide NBC (Nuclear, Bacteriological and Chemical) protection.
