Description:
The Sisu E13TP 6x6 is a high-mobility, high-capacity, all-terrain, high-speed, all-wheel drive tactical truck designed for operation under varying transport conditions with ease of maintenance and repair. Due to its military role, critical components such as electric and pneumatic systems are located in protected places. It is based on standard truck components and shares the same modular cab design with other members of the Sisu Defence military trucks family. Besides, the Sisu Defence tactical trucks can be equipped with add-on armor kits. Sisu 6x6 truck is supplied in special versions and can be modified with ease to meet customer's requirements.
This high mobility terrain vehicle (HMTV) is designed for on-road and off-road drive. Sisu 6x6 is powered by an Euro 4 emissions compliant C13 diesel engine from Caterpillar developing 400-hp of power. It is entitled to transport loads of up to 15 tons. Sisu 6x6 can be equipped with add-armor plates to achieve NATO STANAG 1, 2 or 3 protection levels against ballistic threats or level 2 or 3 against mines. In addition, the armored cabin is completely airtight thus allowing for its pressurization which would provide NBC (Nuclear, Bacteriological and Chemical) protection.
