Description: The Type 92 is a Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS) under development. The launcher is mounted on a tracked chassis and the vehicles has been provided with light armor to survive small caliber guns and artillery shells impacts.

Japan could use this platform to fire tactical ballistic missiles (TBMs) complementing or replacing the M270 armed with a pair of ATACMS TBMs.
