Description: The Litton Systems' AN/PVS-17C is a mini night sight vision system designed for assault rifles such as the Colt M-16 that meets the requirements of the US Naval Surface Warfare Center. The sight systems builds around Northrop Grumman's OMNI V enhanced third generation image intensifier. Overall, the system weighs less than three pounds and can be submerged at depths of 66 feet for up to two hours. The operating temperature varies from -40 Celsius to +52 Celsius degrees. Powered by Alkaline battery the AN/PVS-17C sight can remain ON for 20 hours or 32 hours using lithium battery.
