Description: AGM-45 Shrike was an anti-radiation missile intended to suppress anti-aircraft fire control radars replaced by the current AGM-88 HARM missile. Its guidance system is based on tracking enemy radar emissions which Shrike utilizes to find the source. Shrike developed began in the late 1950s following a requirement of the US Navy. It saw combat for the first time during the war in Vietnam. It was integrated onto F-4, A-6 and A-4 aircraft.
