Description: The Emad, Pillar in English, is a silo-based, long-range tactical ballistic missile that can engage a target with a man-on-the-loop directing the missile. The new missile is likely to use liquid propellant with a maximum range in excess of 1,700 kilometers. The Emad missile was unveiled by the Islamic Republic of Iran on October 11, 2015.
