Description: The Hyunmoo IV is a new tactical ballistic missile being developed by the Republic of Korea to counter the threats posed by North Korea. The new missile compared with Hyunmoo I and Hyunmoo II will fly farther carrying a greater warhead. The missile warhead might reach 1,000 kilograms and the maximum range would be between 800 and 1,000 kilometers. The Hyunmoo IV development was made public in late 2017 as a retaliatory measure against North Korea ballistic missile program and nuclear tests.
