Description: The Kinzhal-M is an upgraded variant of the Kinzhal hypersonic cruise missile intended for launch from the Tu-160M and Tu-160M2 strategic bombers. The upgraded missile features an estimated range of 3,000 kilometers carrying a nuclear or a conventional warhead while cruising at a speed of Mach 10-12. The Kinzhal-M missile is expected to be fielded by the Russian Air Force in the early 2020s.
