Description: The Musudan is a long-range, multi-stage, ballistic missile developed by North Korea since the 2000s with the aim to hit targets at ranges of up to 4,000 kilometers. Equipped with conventional and chemical warheads, eventually, the Musudan missile could be equipped with a nuclear warhead providing an excellent deterrent against South Korea, Japan and the United States. The Musudan medium range ballistic missile (MRBM) entered service with the armed forces of North Korea around the year 2010.
