Description: The Neptun is a long-range, subsonic, anti-ship missile developed by the Ukraine leveraging some technologies from the Kh-35 missile developed by the former Soviet Union. The new cruise missile was unveiled by Ukroboronprom in August 2018 and is intended for release by ground-, sea- and air- platforms. The Neptun anti-ship missile has a maximum range between 280 and 300 kilometers and is fitted with a high explosive blast fragmentation warhead while flying at altitudes between 10 and 30 meters to avoid radar detection. The Ukraine may use the Neptun to target or threaten bridges and other infrastructures such as the bridge between Russia mainland and Crimea.
