Description: R-14 was a liquid propellant, single-stage, intermediate range ballistic missile (IRBM) developed in the Soviet Union in the 1960s. It was able to deliver a nuclear warhead at ranges in excess of 4,000 kilometers. It could be launched from either silo- or surface-launcher. R-14U missile western designation is SS-5 Skean.
