Description: R-26, also known as the SS-8 Sasin, was an Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) developed but not deployed by the Soviet Union Armed Forces. It was equipped with a single nuclear warhead yielding 2.5-megaton. The maximum range of R-26 was 13,000 km. The R-26 missile designation was also mistaken as the R-9A/B missile by western intelligence.
