Description: RT-2 was a silo-based, three-stage, solid propellant, Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) capable of delivering a single nuclear warhead yielding 1-megaton at ranges of 9,000 kilometers. It was the first generation of Soviet ICBM powered by solid propellant. RT-2 was known in western countries as the SS-13 Savage.
