Description: The Shaheen III is a surface-to-surface, Medium Range Ballistic Missile (MRBM) developed by Pakistan and is capable of carrying a conventional or nuclear warhead. It has been designed with a maximum range of 2,750 kilometers as a further evolution of the Hatf-6/Shaheen II road mobile ballistic missile. The first test launch of the Shaheen III ballistic missiles was carried out on March 9, 2015. The missile system is expected to enter service in 2016 or later.
