Description: The Yars-M, SS-29A NATO designation?, is a modernized version of the RS-24 Yars Inter-Continental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) slated to enter service with the Russian Strategic Forces by the end of 2013. The specifications of the Yars-M are unknown at this point but could be provided with some sort of facilities to support road or railroad mobility. The Russian Strategic Forces command announced the deployment of the fifth generation Yars-M ICBM by the end of 2014 or early 2015 on April 18, 2013.
