Description: The Beechcraft Premier I, formerly known as Raytheon Premier, is a light twin-engine business jet offering a quiet, spacious and comfortable cabin. Powered by two Williams International FJ44-2A engines each rated at 2,300-lb of thrust, Premier features a cruise speed of 500 miles per hour and a maximum range of 1,376 nautical miles (nm). The Premier light jet program was born in the 1990s at the Raytheon Aircraft Company (RAC) as the Raytheon Premier. The first aircraft entered service in 2001. RAC was acquired by Hawker Beechcraft Corporation (HBC) in March 2007. As of June 2007, HBC had delivered 200 Beechcraft Premiers. Overall, this business jet combines speed, performance, reliability and flexibility.

The Beechraft Premier cockpit was designed to be handled by a single-pilot. To do so, the aircraft features Collins' Pro Line 21 integrated avionics with three 8x10 inches LCD displays and Integrated Flight Information System (IFIS) providing a wide variety of display options. The aircraft's advanced avionics provide expanded awareness while reducing workload. The composite-made fuselage is the key allowing an outstanding cabin comfort with a seating capacity for up to seven passengers and one pilot.

The Beechcraft Premier IA is the current production standard for the Premier light jet and was introduced in 2005. Premier IA features a high-strength composite, carbon fiber/epoxy/honeycomb fuselage, produced by computer-controlled, automated machines, giving the aircraft a medium-jet sized cabin at light jet acquisition and operating costs. Besides, the ferry range with zero payload has been extended from 1,376 nm to 1,490 nm.
