Description: Bombardier Challenger is a family of twin-engine, medium-size corporate jet with a seating capacity ranging from 8 to 50 passengers. Passengers can afford enough room to conference and work while enjoying the aircraft's comfortable cabin. The Challenger fills the gap between the smaller Learjet and the huge Global which is more suitable for intercontinental trip rather than US coast-to-coast flights in the Bombardier product line portfolio. Challenger family also outstands by its reliability and long term service.
The Bombardier Challenger 650, formerly known as the Challenger 605 NG, is a wide-cabin business jet powered by enhanced General Electric (GE) engines that will enable the aircraft to takeoff from shorter runways. Besides, these more powerful engines will increase the aircraft's range to up to 4,000 nautical miles (7,400+ kilometers). TheChallenger 650 jet will feature redesigned seats and galley, business aviation's most advanced and best equipped Cabin Management System, largest-in-class HD monitors, Audio Video on Demand, Bluetooth integration and industry-leading connectivity capabilities. Netjets became the launch customer for the Challenger 605 NG jet on June 11, 2012, but the aircraft was officially designated as the Challenger 650 in October 2014 at NBAA exhibition. First Challenger 650 aircraft are scheduled for delivery in 2015.
