Description: The Airbus Helicopters H135, formerly the Eurocopter EC135 T3/P3, is a twin-engine light-medium aircraft designed to perform a variety of missions landing almost anywhere including in high and hot conditions. The multi-purpose H135 is powered by either Turbomeca's Arrius 2B2 Plus (EC135 T3) or Pratt & Whitney Canada's PW206B3/PW206BB (EC135 P3) FADEC-equipped turboshaft engines. The new low fuel consumption engines provide higher reliability with outstanding performance and vital power reserves for one-engine inoperative scenarios. The H135 aircraft also features a bearingless main rotor, Fenestron shrouded tail rotor, engine software modifications, and a new lateral air intake to provide additional payload and improved flight envelope. The H135 was unveiled in March 2013 and entered service in December 2014.
