Description: The M28 is a short takeoff and landing (STOL) turboprop aircraft designed and developed by PZL Mielec to meet the requirements of both civilian and military operators. The twin-engine M28 multipurpose aircraft is powered by Pratt & Whitney PT6A-65B turboprop engine rated at 1,100-shp. The airplane is able to operate from almost any runway, included unprepared ones, due to its STOL characteristics in any weather conditions. The M28 is capable of carrying 19 passengers or 17 paratroopers with a payload capacity for up to 2,300 kilograms. The M28 aircraft was awarded type certification by the authorities of Poland in 2002.
