Description: The Mi-2A is an upgraded version of the Russian Mil Mi-2 helicopter manufactured by PZL Swidnik in Poland beginning in the 1960s. The Mi-2A is intended for the civil market and features a new engine, advanced piloting and navigation systems with significant flight performance improvements. In February 2012, Rostvertol of Russia and Xiao Aeroplane Manufacturing of China agreed on the construction of a factory in northern China capable of manufacturing 100 Mi-2A helicopters annually.
