Description: Mi-34 is a single-engine, light utility helicopter developed by MIL helicopters for both civil and military applications. Despite Mi-34 helicopter production ceased in the late 1990s MIL is studying the chance of re-engining this helicopter with more powerful and reliable engines to re-launch its production. In addition further variants for different purposes might be developed as well.

Mi-34VA3 is a civil variant and Mi-34M is its military counterpart. Mi-34A is a variant powered by France's Arrius or Russian engines (AI-450) rated at approximately 450-shp. Mi-34U features a piston engine with increased power while Mi-34UT is a training variant. Mi-34BPV is a multi-purpose unmanned variant.
