Description: Mi-54 is a twin-engine, multi-purpose helicopter capable of carrying payloads of up to 1,800 kg externally (1,500 kg internally) or 12-13 passengers. Additionally, the aircraft might assume corporate and VIP transport, search and rescue, border patrol, etc. Its spacious and comfortable cabin (4.25x1.71x1.4 meters) will accommodate 12-13 passengers and a two-man crew. Wide doors, engine dustproof systems, blades anti-icing, and modern avionics are other features introduced by MIL on this aircraft. Mi-54 will be compliant with Russian, FAR-29 and JAR-29 rotary-wing aircraft standards.
MIL Helicopter has not announced yet the engine to power its Mi-54 aircraft. The service ceiling would be 5,500 meters and 2,500 meters out of ground effect. Cruising at 260 kph (top speed of 280 kph) and relying on its internal fuel tanks the Mi-54 would be able to cover ranges of 600 kilometers.
