Description: The Sino Swearingen Aircraft Corporation (SSAC) SJ30-2 is a twin-engine light business jet intended to carry up to six passengers plus single pilot over ranges of 2,500 nautical miles (4,600 km) cruising at 0.78 Mach. SJ30's outstanding pressurized cabin permits sea level pressure conditions through 41,000-ft of altitude. The FAA awarded type certification on October 27, 2005, with the first aircraft entering service in February 2007. This light business jet is certified for single pilot operation. The SJ30 business jet family also includes the SJ30i and the SJ30x jets introduced in 2015 and 2017 respectively.

The SJ30x business jet features all of the advantages of the SJ30i, but also adds the more powerful FJ44-3AP-25 engines that include dual FADECS controls. The SJ30x is expected to offer more range, quicker time to climbs, higher cruise speed at altitude, better hot and high performance, increased payload, single point pressure refueling, and the elimination of the need for PRIST. The first SJ30x business jet is slated for delivery in 2017.
