Description: The VRT500 is a single-engine, lightweight utility helicopter developed by VR-Technologies to perform passenger, utility, cargo, training, VIP, and Medevac missions. The new rotorcraft will feature low maintenance and operating costs. The VRT500 will feature a maximum takeoff weight of 1,600 kilogram with a seating capacity for five-man, a maximum range of 1,000 kilometers, a top speed of 230 kilometers per hour and a payload of 750 kilograms. The VRT500 prototype is expected to take to the air in 2019.
