Its payload will comprise 4 BONUS anti-tank sensor-fuzed munitions, 77 double effects grenades, and unitary warhead according to the mission profile. The high accuracy of this weapon is achieved through the use of a GPS/INS guidance system and canards for flight control.

Pelican VLR (Very Long Range) is being designed to engage targets at maximum range of 85 km and will be available for future 155mm howitzers. Pelican LR will use a rocket motor and horizontal flight to achieve its impressive range.
