Description: Polynege is a family of precision attack munitions featuring modular architecture and non-line-of-sight (NLOS) engagement capability. GIAT Industries is developing Polynege to allow main battle tanks to fire stationary or on the move against NLOS or not visible targets at ranges of up to eight kilometers. The warhead is being developed to take out heavy and light armored vehicles as well as infrastructures. GIAT pursues a low-cost high performance family of munitions through Polygene.
