Description: The STRIX is a smart projectile to be launched through any 120mm smooth bore mortar against armored vehicles. The STRIX has been conceived to perform a guided precision top-attack profile against the top of battle tanks where the armor is weakest. It is enabled to discriminate the target among burning bodies and decoys thanks to smart processing of images provided by its IR seeker.

The STRIX projectile has side thrusters and a shaped charge warhead to penetrate ERA-protected armored vehicles. It is able to carriy out engagements at 7,000 meters with pinpoint accuracy.
