Description: The AE3007 engine is derived from AE1107 turbofan. It was developed to provide a turbofan for regional and business jet. Embraer's ERJ 145 family of aircraft and Legacy business jets are powered by two AE 3007 turbofan engines. Cessna Citation X midsize business jet is powered by two AE 3007 C1 engines. Citation Ten is powered by two AE 3007 C2 engines. The AE3007H engine a derivative from baseline AE3007 turbofan powers United States Air Force's Global Hawk unmanned long-endurance surveillance aircraft.
On August 30, 2006, Embraer announced the sale of 50 ERJ 145 and 50 EMB 190 jetliners to Chinese carrier HNA Group. The total valued of the deal was $2.7 billion. The first 50-seat ERJ 145 jets to be produced by the Joint venture Harbin Embraer Aircraft Industry (HEAI) were slated for delivery beginning in September 2007. HEAI is based at the city of Harbin in the Heilongjiang province. These aircraft were powered by Rolls Royce AE 3007 engines under a contract worth $500 million including a long-term TotalCare agreement. HNA Group was expected to take over its first single-class 106-seat Embraer 190 in December 2007. The EMB 190 jet were produced at Sao Jose dos Campos plant in Brazil.
