Description: The General Electric Advanced Turboprop has been designed to power Business and General Aviation (BGA) market. The Advanced Turboprop engine is rated at 1,240-shp of power and will compete with other engines in the 1,000- 1,600 shp of power output. The new engine was launched in 2015, first run in December 2017 and is expected to achieve type certification in 2018 and entry into revenue service in 2019. The Advanced Turboprop engine has already been selected to power the Cessna Denali expected to first fly by the end of 2018.
