Description: The F7-10 is a high-bypass ratio turbofan engine developed by Ishikawa Heavy Industries (IHI) to meet the requirements of the Japanese Ministry of Defense (MoD). The F7-10 engine is a new design and provides a maximum thrust at takeoff of 12,000 pounds. The engine was selected to power the P-1 maritime patrol aircraft beginning in 2007.
