Description: The Rolls-Royce MT7 naval engine is a derivative of the AE 1107C turboprop engine intended to power the US Navy's (USN) Ship-to-Shore Connector (SSC) hovercraft. The SSC will be provided with aft propellers driven by the MT7 engine. Up to nine SSC are expected to enter service beginning in 2017.
