Description: The PD-7 is a turbofan engine developing 17,500 pounds of thrust and intended to power regional jetliners as replacement for the SaM146 engine. The PD-7 engine is based upon the United Engine Corporation PD-14 turbofan. The new engine may be intended to power next generation of Sukhoi Superjet 100 (SSJ 100) due to its lower fuel consumption.
