Description: The Rolls-Royce Pearl is a new engine family developed to power the Bombardier Global 5500 and Global 6500 ultra-long-range business jets. The Pearl engine is the result of the Advance2 technology demonstrator and the Rolls-Royce BR700 engine family. These engines will feature increased thrust, lower levels of noise emissions, lower NOx emissions and improved specific fuel consumption (SFC). The Pearl 15 engine will develop 15,125-lb of thrust at takeoff and is expected to enter service by the end of 2019.
