Description: The T800 is a family of turboshaft engines developed jointly between Honeywell and Rolls Royce under the Light Helicopter Turbine Engine Company (LHTEC). These engines are rated between 1,300 - 1,800-shp featuring modular design and ease of maintenance. The T800 engine was developed to power high performance light/medium helicopters operating in the military range such as the US Army RAH-66 Comanche (now cancelled).

T800-LHT-800 was developed to power the US Army RAH-66 Comanche combat and scout helicopter. This program was cancelled by the Army in 2004. These engines are available for re-engining programs for existing helicopters.
