Description: The VK-1500 is a 1500-hp class turboprop aircraft engine family designed for use along with AV-17 and AV-36 propellers in regional airliners accommodating up to 30 passengers. It can be used to power the Antonov An-3, An-38, and Beriev Be-132MK aircraft. The engine features low fuel consumption, high reliability, full authority electronic and electro-hydraulic control, low level of emissions according to ICAO standards and low noise levels. The VK-1500 engines are fully compliant with AP-33 aviation regulation.
