Description: The VK-650V is a new turborshaft engine being developed by United Engine Corporation (UEC) Klimov to power the Ka-226 helicopter. The new engine provides a power range between 500 and 700 horsepower. The new engine development was announced in September 2019 and is expected to enter service in 2020-2021.
