Description: The 9LV naval combat management and fire control system has been developed by Saab to fit into small displacement warships such as corvettes and missile boats. Besides, the 9LV system can be integrated into submarines, frigates and amphibious assault ships. The 9LV is offered in three variants depending on the level of complexity: Combat System, Combat Management System and Fire Control System. The system covers the areas of navigation, weapons, communications and sensors which are keys for the warship success. The 9LV system was introduced in the mid 1990s and so far has been integrated into Swedish Navy Visby class corvettes, Royal Australian Navy (RAN) Canberra amphibious ships, Swedish Gotland class submarines and RAN Anzac class frigates, Norwegian Jan Mayen patrol boats and Finnish Squadron 2020 corvettes.
