Description: The ADM-160A MALD (Miniature Air Launched Decoy) is an advanced decoy designed to fly autonomously to simulate the mission profiles of a typical fighter aircraft. It has the ability to maneuver through high g turns, climbs and dives. In addition, the MALD is equipped with radar cross section augmentations in the UHF, VHF and microwave frequencies to achieve a realistic simulation of a real fighter aircraft when viewed by enemy radar systems.

The subsonic MALD can be launched from different aircraft types, including bombers, and will saturate enemy air defenses without risking valuable aircraft and pilots. The MLAD is powered by a single TJ-50 turbojet engine and its navigation system is GPS-based.
